For those that have a Bible, please, read the fifteenth chapter of the first epistle of Paul to the Corinthians and meditate on it, it is of utmost importance, meditation is needed at the present time! Spiritual discipline, in this fast, crazy world is of utmost importance. Christians must not starve the soul, for people in the world do not even have time to eat properly, the luck of a proper mid-day break is costing many lives, so a spiritual diet, for Christians is not good! Meditate, for without meditating whilstreading the Word of God, and hearing it preached in the power of the Holy Spirit, is costing Christians their proper balanced spiritual food. Many Christians, after a crazy normal, modern day, have given up reading the Gospel, meditation and prayer! Christians live on a starvation diet and many will be saved by the skin of their teeth, or as it is also written ‘by fire’! Only people that have lost everything by fire know what it means! it must be terrible?! Many have lost everything, so, Christians do not lose your rewards! wake up people of the Lord, Jesus is coming soon!

Therefore, the death and the resurrection of Christ is at the centre of the holy proclamation, which Jesus started to preach it openly throughout His land, a Gospel recorded faithfully by His disciples, which later, Jesus revealed it directly to His servant the apostle Paul! The Cross and its effect on humanity, is at the centre of the Gospel. The apostle Paul in his letter to the Christians in Corinth declares: ‘For Christ did not send me to baptise, but to preach the gospel – not with words of human wisdom, lest the Cross of Christ be emptied of power. For the message of the CROSS is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.’ (1 Corinthians 1: 17-18) Spiritual death is propagated by a Christless Church; a church that tailored all, or most of its teaching, to suit the law of godless lands and its people! it leads a crowd of followers to their eternal death! The Cross poses questions to the whole world, it asks firstly: Why did Jesus, the Son of the living God,had to be incarnated, live a spotless life, to sacrifice it on an awful cross? Secondly: why is the preaching of the Cross important today and why must all His servants of proclaim the message of the cross fervently to a world condemned to an eternal hell? Lastly: What is its whole glorious message concerning the eternal purposes of Almighty God for those that have believed it? All these answers are embodied in the message of the Cross!

Thus, it all holds together, if one iota is taken out or forgotten, it has to be put back. A comma in the wrong place can change the whole Gospel! The whole of this chapter (1 Corinthians 15) shows the importance of the Cross, on which Christ died, according to the Scriptures, that God raised Him from the dead, according to the Scriptures, that He ascended on High, and from the throne of God He will return, according to the Scriptures! So, no-one can stop the fulfilment of prophesy, hence, the best is yet to come, for, to every believer, the Lord Jesus Christ has promised a glorious, eternalfuture! Sadly, the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us, who are being saved, it is the power of God which saves from hell all those that have believed that Christ died for their sins, in expectation! ‘Even so, come Lord Jesus.’(Revelation 22: 20-21)
