It is evident, with all that I have written in the previous ‘Links’, that God had decided to intervene and reclaim this planet from the chaos it was in, through the fall of Satan and that, to do it, He had decided on a plan of redemption which as we see is still in motion, fulfilling ceaselessly His will, in and through His Son Jesus Christ. It is written: ‘He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him were all things created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of His body, the Church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all His fulness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things on earth and in heaven by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross. (Colossians 1:15-20)
Men, demons, not even the devil himself, can alter or annul the sovereignty of Almighty God, Lord of heaven and earth; in His economy, the time had come to change the earth and bring it out of the chaos it was in, and start the process of bringing it out of chaos into perfection, and through Jesus Christ, His Son, He will complete it when He ushers in a New heaven and a new earth! In our part of Europe, we are governed by a democratic system. Every so often we have an election, and after much verbiage we are called to choose a leader. It may be a President or a Prime minister, thus we can change those that govern us; but one cannot change or vote for another God, for there is only one, revealed in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Previously, I have mentioned that God’s redemptive work will end with the creation of a new heaven and a new earth. Nevertheless, as I have mentioned, sin, which has its origin in Satan, was a big thing even for God to deal with! I sometimes think that it was the biggest problem that He ever had to solve, we can see it, in part, as we consider the intricate workings of His plan in the redemption of man, and the earth, marred by his sin. Only God knows sin’s destructive power, and its putrefying character! How could an angel of light, mighty and perfect, as was Lucifer was, as are the archangels Michael and Gabriel! fall so low and become Satan? Through sin and all its destructive intents, Satan subjects man to a hard and cruel slavery? The worst of it, is that man is blind to it all, and being burdened by the suffering it imposes on him, he is more likely to blame God for his miseries, pains and sufferings, rather than run to Him for cover, safety and salvation! Nevertheless, long before man was even thought of, God had to find a way not only to reduce Satan’s activities, nor even to isolate him, but to actually disarm him and eventually bring about his total destruction. But that was not all, in this one act, He also had to destroy the power of sin and ensure the possibility of forgiveness, so as to deliver man from the claim that death has over Him, and end his slavery to Satan!
The Bible is a fascinating collection of revelations of God, of His wisdom, His power and His glory! As one travels through it, event by event, one meets wonderful characters, men that God chose, raised up and through them brought slowly, step by step, various phases of history to an end, only to start again something new, nothing out of place, everything fitting perfectly, like a puzzle, each piece revealing more of the picture. It is the greatest and most unique chef-d’oeuvre that any artist could produce! There are prophesies, in the Old Testament, foretelling events that happened days, months, years or even centuries after they were uttered by His prophets. Prophecies about the coming of Jesus Christ, such as His virgin birth, the place of His birth, His sufferings, His redemptive work. Each prophecy was fulfilled to the letter prior to His birth, at His birth, during His life time, at His death, some wonderful ones are yet to be fulfilled such as the setting up of the Kingdom of God, whenever He decides to send Christ, His son, to rule over the whole earth! Jesus foretold His resurrection, His return to earth and the setting up of His kingdom; many things are fulfilled every day! These should convince every man that reads the Bible, that only God could utter so much and fulfil it to the letter. Exciting things are foretold, which every Christian is patiently expecting, for, believe me, they will happen soon, for every sign, socially, politically, spiritually, prove that Jesus is coming soon!

My name is Edouard Jankowski and In September 1953 I landed on British soil. I was then nineteen years of age, and my destination was the I.B.T.I. (International Bible Training Institute) situated in Burgess-Hill, West Sussex. I did not realise when I arrived at the College, how my life was about to change for the better.
