At one point, in His public ministry, to three of them Jesus revealed His glory, it was on of mount Tabor; as I mentioned previously in my other writings, it is always beneficial to repeat it; they were James, John his brother and Peter. I repeat also that ‘Jesus asked His disciples; when they were in Caesarea Philippi: ‘Who do people say the Son of Man is?’. They replied: Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.’ But what about you? He asked. Who do you say I am? Simon Peter answered: ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God, ‘Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man but by my Father in heaven.(Matthew 16.16-17) We find that it was important to God that the disciples, at least, should know Who Jesus was, so He took it upon Himself to reveal to them. For they all knew who He was! How much do you desire to see the glory of the Lord? If you do see, it will not be up a mountain, nor will it be with these natural eyes, but the Holy Spirit will open the eyes of your heart, for it is so important to know Him fully, to spend the time it takes to enquire after Him, and meditate about Him, in His presence. True satisfaction comes from knowing the Lord, if you want to, God, the Holy Spirit, will help you to find Him! Once you know Him, life is complete!

Having established sufficiently that Jesus is divine, The Lord Jesus-Christ, born in Bethlehem, in Judea, the second person of the Holy Trinity, I must ask another question which must be answered. What is the spiritual state of mankind in the eyes of God? Of course, we cannot speculate we must search what the Holy Book says! When we have answered it, we must ask ourselves another one: What is its predicted end? Men have their ideas but they speculate because they do not believe the Bible. Science, in general, has convinced most of what is labelled as the Christian world, that man has evolved from a monkey-like creature, what is still only an unproved theory, is taught in our schools, yet we still say that we are a Christian country! Evolution is basically the fruit of a backslidden church, worldly and anti-Christ, dead! They are still called Christians by all other religions, but they are only cultural ones, for most of their ways are non-Christian. They are sons of darkness, and have brought the name Jesus in disrepute by their evil deeds! 

In spite of it, true believers in Christ, believe that the real truth about man, God and Jesus Christ, declared to be His Son, is found in the Bible; but how many really believe it? Not all have a Bible, those that have, read it occasionally or not at all. Unbelievers, without knowing much of it, try to disprove it? In the light of what some men think concerning their origin, is a point of contention, they have different ideas, in that darkness, a total confusion guides them to wrong conclusions about the existence or the character of God, that is the main reason why idolatry is so prevalent, as for God, the Creator, He is not a part in their darkened soul. Whatever are the prevailing ideas, God is and always will be, the Creator of all things, seen and unseen and He alone holds man’s destiny in His hands! He has stuck to His original plan right from the beginning, as stated in the book of Genesis, and continue to develop it, as He chooses to; and He still gets on with it! 

Men are influenced by cultures, religions, ethics, backgrounds, colour, education, social mobility, politics, nationality and so on. These factors have created walls between peoples through all generations, this inherited spirit has of late emerged again, stronger than ever. Nationalism, fascism, racism, have grown alarmingly in the last fifteen or twenty years. After all the efforts men have put into creating a kind of ‘entente-cordiale’, and bring down some of these barriers, to try and create a better world, more tolerant, more united, they have failed, for nations still hold strongly to their heritage, and even within their own ranks, citizens of a nation are at logger heads; we have the blues, the reds, the green, the yellow, there are no violets yet! Societies in which the poor are poorer, and the rich have never been as rich; as to the gentry, it still holds the reins of power, whose existence and history is divided by various institutions. But as I have often said some are rich, some are very rich, and there are those that are stinking rich, but if they are it is because they have exploited the poor, but The Lord of the true Christians, says: ‘I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again, I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.’ (Matthew 19: 23-24) This statement has been explained away in many ways, by the enemies of truth, but all it means is: That it is hard for rich people to be saved!
