The start of a new, unending life, which Jesus was raised into, He will share it with them and all those that will believe in Him right up to the present days. Remember what Jesus said to Martha, sister of Lazarus: ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He that believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whosoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this? (John 11: 25) Do you believe it? Sadly, it is not the case, because, far too many Christians, wait, and live in hope to receive eternal life in the last day, the day of the last judgement. They live their life convinced that eternal life is yet to come, and that we will know on that day, hoping we’ll get it! If it is of faith than it does not depend on good works! Friends, if you have accepted that Jesus died for your sins, and if you have repented and believed in Him and follow Him for the rest of your days, then, eternal life has begun already!
I repeat myself, but it fits the context, then it is right to do so, the apostle John writes: ‘Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when He (Jesus) appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. (1 John 3: 2-3) This new life, eternal, having started from conversion, will go on forever, because a Christian never dies, as Jesus said it to Martha, few days after Jesus said it to her, He suffered a horrible death, rose from the dead, never to die again, nor will those that by faith have believed in Him. God will discipline His sons, but He will never disown them!
The appearance of Christ in a human glorified body, was the beginning of events that would happen very quickly, and in some ways, they still continue today, it will be so until Christ actually comes to take to heaven all those who through centuries trusted themselves to Him, and believed that he died for their sins! Jesus had to say many things to people that followed Him, being with them, He had important things to share with them. He never said to them all that He said in either during or after they had supper. They never heard that he would return for them, as He mentioned it so clearly for the first time in the upper room, a truth amplified right through the new Testament. Read it, it is the greatest event that is still ignored by too many! Eternal truths that Jesus prophesied, and His apostles! All the events that are happening in the world today, especially in Palestine, should be seen in the light of Old Testament and New Testament prophecies, and eventually men will see the establishment of a New World order, with Jesus Christ, the Son of God, reigning from Jerusalem over the whole world. This may happen in a no distant future.
Following the death of our Lord, was at a time of great stress, they had completely forgotten what Jesus told them concerning His resurrection, and what would follow. I reckon that they were in deep conversation, after that Mary Magdalene, and, other women, saw Him alive, a news which at first, they took with a pinch of salt, as we say! In the room where the disciples lived afraid to go out, where left perplexed, and discussed the happenings of the morning, having heard the women that had seen Jesus alive. I can sympathise with them, because this news added, to what already left them numb, unable to make any sense to it all. Gathered together in the Upper Room, the apostles looked to Peter, to say the right thing, but he had no words of wisdom, and like them all, was bereft and could not make any sense of what they lived through during the last forty-eight hours!

My name is Edouard Jankowski and In September 1953 I landed on British soil. I was then nineteen years of age, and my destination was the I.B.T.I. (International Bible Training Institute) situated in Burgess-Hill, West Sussex. I did not realise when I arrived at the College, how my life was about to change for the better.
