In that Upper Room, on the Thursday of the Lord’s Jesus last week of life in a mortal body, started a new beginning to everything. From John chapter 13 to 17, Jesus was alone with his apostles. He uttered words by which He laid the foundation to much of the Christian doctrine – resting on the institution of the Lord’s supper – the New covenant Luke 22 -- the Christians’ rapture to heaven! -- The Christians’ fruit bearing, their life’s commitment -- the coming/baptism with the Holy Spirit! -- The Christians guided, and taught by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit -- the anointing of the new priesthood! Amazing statements of Christ concerning those present and His future disciples. As the apostle Peter says: ‘A chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God! that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.’ (1 Peter 2: 9-) This sums up the calling to serve, of every man that is born into the family of God!
The time spent with His disciple ended with His prayer for them, as recorded by John in the seventeenth chapter of his Gospel, it included into the plan of God, all those who were present in the Jerusalem at the time, and the rest of them spread in the His country, still called ‘Palestine,’ and, Jesus also prayed for all those that would believe in Him through their words! So, there is this other part to His prayer, in which Jesus prays for all who were given to Him by His Father before the foundation of the world, right up to the present days, including the very last one that He will call before the rapture! In this changing world, things that are new in various walk of life, are not secure, we do not know if they will be with us tomorrow! A Christian, from the start of His new life in God, must learn, that in God’s Kingdom nothing alters, what Jesus, and His apostles, have spoken, preached, and written twenty centuries ago is just as if He/they said it today, nothing has changed, nothings will change until all is fulfilled. We must always remember that!
So, what I wrote in the previous Link is being fulfilled today! For Jesus says to His Father. ‘My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, (It is the message – men are only saved today if they hear and believe the message) that all of them may be one Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be one. I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you loved me. Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world!’ Hence this prayer is the prayer of our High Priest, who owns all His sheep to the very last one, for the calling of all of them still continues! Some of them may not even be born! But Jesus will not come for His Church until that last one is brought into the fold.
These statements are describing the relationship that a true believers have with Jesus Christ, and through Him with God; by being one with Jesus they are therefore with their heavenly Father forever, kept by His power up to now, by the Holy Spirit. We must always remember that. So, I say it again: All that have believed in Jesus Christ are in Him, and being one with Jesus Christ, they are one with their Heavenly Father! (John 1: 13), born of the Holy Spirit, by the will of God, for: ‘Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the (Holy) Spirit gives birth to spirit.’ As Jesus said to Nicodemus (John 3:6). But that new spirit, is not the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, He is that new creation. According to Bible teaching, one has to be a son to be baptised with the Holy-Spirit, who is the unifying agent of all this amazing eternal work of God, which is being fulfilled daily, according to His eternal plan! In His prayer, which was the only one that was heard by the apostles, for Jesus always went on His own to talk to His Father in Heaven! This is what Jesus does to each of His disciple, not just the clergy, for there is not a clergy in Chris’s Church, all are priests and their High Priest is Jesus, and fulfils his duties in the presence of God! About forty or fifty years later, the Holy Spirit reminded John every bit of it. They all heard it; John alone was led to write it!

My name is Edouard Jankowski and In September 1953 I landed on British soil. I was then nineteen years of age, and my destination was the I.B.T.I. (International Bible Training Institute) situated in Burgess-Hill, West Sussex. I did not realise when I arrived at the College, how my life was about to change for the better.
