Nevertheless, I will mention just few verses, that make it so plain. It happened to one called Nebuchadnezzar, the King of the Babylonian Empire. He was humbled by the hand of God to teach him and through him others, this basic fact. It happened as written in the book of Daniel; God said to him: ‘You will be driven awayfrom people and will live with the wild animals; you will gras likecattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven, seven times (years)will pass by for you, until you acknowledge that the Most-High, is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone He wishes. (Daniel 4: 32) Nebuchadnezzar, lost His sanity and during seven years he lived with the beasts of the fields. After seven years, as Daniel predicted, he came back to normal, King Nebuchadnezzar, as it is written: ‘At the end of that time, I,Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes towards heaven, and my sanity was restored, Then I praised the, Most High, honoured and glorified Him and said: ‘His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation. (to this present one) All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as He pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold His hand or say to Him: What have you done’?! (Daniel 4: 34-35) There is a time set by the Almighty when all will come to an end, and Jesus as King will rule the earth! That time is closer than we think.

Therefore, it is essential for all Christians that are alive in the world today, the final days of history, that they commit themselves to the service of the Lord, and live for His glory, in a world governed by all sorts of men in the service of the devil, with a deep knowledge that our Heavenly Father, is above them all! However tough the future may be, nothing and no-one can stop the Holy Spirit from bringing to conversion the worst of sinners in the worst of situations! Jesu said: ‘I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’ And to bring His Church to completion He has sent the Holy Spirit. Thus, whatever may happen to the world, or to believers, while they live their lives in it,will happen by the permissive will of Almighty God, and that He alone rules and overrules the powers of men, that generally hate Him, and this hate is fermented by Satan, the rulers of darkness! Although many Christians have been martyred, all must serve to fulfil His purposes! 

At present, a lot of Satan’s slaves are killing each other, there are wars and rumours of wars on much of the planet, but all their hatred will end to their own undoing! In the light of it, Christians are told to pray for those that rule over them, not that they be blessed, but pray that they may live their life in peace, and be ableto serve the Lord. The children of God should not be partisans; knowing that whilst they live in the world, they are not of it. They must obey the laws of the land, as taught in by the Lord and His apostles; pay their taxes, help the needy in their vicinity, as the Holy Spirit leads them! Nevertheless, as Christians they have the sublime privilege to live for the glory of Christ and God the Fatherin all king of circumstances , and be committed to the growth of the local church, ready to do their utmost as led by the Holy Spirit,to the growth of the Kingdom of God, of which they is citizens. 

After all these centuries, and regardless of the rampant ungodliness that governs the mind of all nations, it is still the will of God to evangelise the world! To this very day, many areas of the world have still not heard the Gospel. So, if we cannot all go as missionaries, the privilege for most of us is to support those that God is sending to other lands, with this message of deliverance, as the churches did with apostle Paul, and all servants of God since. Paul expressed it so well, to the Colossians, as quoted above. He explained so well that the whole purpose of winning souls for Jesusis: ‘that we may present everyone perfect in Christ To this end I labour, struggling with all His energy, which so perfectly works is me.’ That is a glorious fact, for nothing would be possible and as I have stated from the beginning of these ‘Links,’ if Christ had not died and risen from the dead the world would have ended long ago! He is Jesus Christ, and He makes Christians a unique, gloriousentity on earth, they follow and live for the glory of a risen Lord, alive, and help Him to build His Church by the power of thew Holy Spirit. No other religion has a leader that is alive, victor over sin, death, and the devil! as is the Eternal Son of God, He is exalted at the His right hand in heaven!
