That is what all Christians are destined to be, as stated previously: ‘For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His son, that He might be the first born among many brothers.’ This process is called sanctification, for the Apostle Paul continues and says: ‘And those that He (God) predestined, He alsocalled; those that He called, he also justified; those that he justified He also glorified! So, the Christian grows by being firstly fed on milk of the words, being fed with milk, the Holy Spirit will begin to reveal to him the beauty of the Lord Jesus, then he will help him, so be like Him, and he will want to be like Him! But he will not be fed on milk forever! To grow into manhood, He will want stronger food, and all this is done by the Lord, as Paul says. ‘He that begana good work in you, will carry it to completion until the day of Christ. (Ephesians 1: 2) Submission and obedience to the Holy Spirit spurs the child of God, as it is written: ‘It is God who works in you to will and to according to His good pleasure (will). Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine as stars in the universe.’ (Philippians 2. 13-15)

Thus, God is the father of all those that are born of Him, by His will! (John 1:12-13)! His children belong to another country, citizens of a new nation, not by naturalisation but through a royal birth! for it is by the power of the Holy Spirit, that they have experienced this profound renewal and birth into the kingdom of God! I mentioned it broadly in the first point I stated, a Christian is ‘a man that is converted.’ Not that he turned a new leaf, and will continue to try his beast to fulfil a decision that he has made, but that God has breathed into him His strength, the inward desire to do His will. This I do, as part of the answer I am still dealing with, to the question I asked at the beginning: ‘Who is a Christians.’ For we live in a world, in which live many sorts of people, with various gods and various ideas, some even call themselves ‘Christians’, without being converted into a Son of God, nor sealed by His Holy Spirit!

In reference to the above, God saves men, that after having heard the Gospel, believed in Christ as Saviour and Lord! I conclude that He does His works of redemption, only in those that He has predestined before the creation of the world. I believe that the following verse seals much of what I have written concerning the second point, I introduced in Link 82. In it I have stated that a deep conviction of sin, and about who Jesus is, a conversion followed, which changes a prisoner of Satan, into a child of God through faith in Christ Jesus! Thus, one becomes a child of God not by his own choice, but by the will of God and a manifestation of His power! A man can make many changes in, and during his life time!but He can only be freed from sin; and created anew into a child of God, by God’s own will and power. The call of God is a very real experience, it is the Holy Spirit that creates the spark of faith and stirs, wakes up a sinner into life, and by this faith he becomes a new creation!

There is a statement in the Bible that is often misused especially by those that believe in man exercising his free will, and chooses, by his own will tofollow Christ or not ! To correct it, the apostle John writes in his gospel the following: ‘Then Jesus declared ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you don’t believe. Why did these people hear all that Jesus said and did not believe? The following words make it plain, for He says: ‘All (or every one) that the Father gives me, will come to me, and whoever comes to me (sent by my Father) I will never drive away. For I have come from heaven not to do my own willmbut to do the will of Him who sent me. And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given me, but I shall raise them up the last day. Finally, the Church of Jesus Christ is an assembly of people taken out, called out, from the world, assembled for a special purpose. (John 6: 34-37)

My name is Edouard Jankowski and In September 1953 I landed on British soil. I was then nineteen years of age, and my destination was the I.B.T.I.
