The next day, John seeing the Lord, said: ‘Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.’ (John 1: 29) John the Baptistsaid mote about the Lord Jesus, but it is often overlooked, and bye passed, by far too many preachers and priests, to the great loss totoo many folk, I quote: ‘Then John gave this testimony: I saw The Holy Spirit come down from heaven as a dove an remain on Him. I would not have known Him (or recognise who He was) except that the one who sent me (God) to baptise with water told me. The man on whom you see the Holy Spirit come down and remain, HE is the one who will baptise with the Holy Spirit. I have seen and I testify that this (He – Jesus) is the SON of God. (John 1: 32-34) One cannot bypass such a statement and be right. Jesus baptises in the Holy Spirit only those that own Him as Lord! Meaning Yahweh
To live as a Christian, our biggest fight of faith, is with our carnal man, the flesh. By nature, we see all that is wrong in our neighbours, the others! But in the midst of all that crowd, we are the best. I am stating this is because as Sons of God, having been baptised with the Holy Spirit, I want to say that the infilling of sons, born of God, differs from the infilling Jesus experienced as the Son of God! Jesus did not need to go through the steps I have mentioned, from conviction of sins to conversion into a new creation which is followed by growth in a new life! Jesus did not have in Him the failings and the evil ways of the flesh, which corrupts human nature to the core. This is why Jesus could not fill the disciples with the Holy Spirit until He went through death and rise from the dead and ascend to His place at the right hand of God. The sacrifice had to be made, and God had to raise Him to Life, when He actually ascended to heaven, from our Father He received the Holy Spirit! And poured Him out on His disciples to seal their sonship!
The apostle Peter, on the day it happened, declares: ‘God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact,Exalted to the right hand of God, He has received from the father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear … therefore let all Israel be assured of this; GOD has made this JESUS, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.’ (Acts 2: 32-33 & 36) These great truths cannot be taught or even understood by men that have not been themselves baptised in the Holy Spirit! Because of prejudice and unbelief, they deny the need of it. A hundred and twenty disciples of Jesus Christ were baptised with the Holy Spirit ten days after the His ascension to heaven, on the day of the feast of Pentecost! They were baptised with the Holy Spirit because they were sons of God, having experienced the new birth, and were ser apart to be God’s people, a new nation under God!
To understand what the flesh is we must go back to Eden. Adam and Eve sinned, by obeying to the insinuations of Satan, the spirit part of them died, the glory of God departed. That was the death God mentioned for the physical death followed long after. The Lord God commanded man: You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tee of knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.’ (Genesis 2: 16-17) They did eat of it, beguiled by the devil, and they did die! But it was not the Holy Spirit that died, it was his spirit, that part of them which enabled them to be in oneness and in communion with God. Death of the spirit put an end to it! They ate and they died there and then! Deep fear filled their hearts and they run to hide in the bushes, fellowship with God was broken for ever, and they were cast away. It is a very sad and awful thing, for all mankind still feel the full horror of it. The Bible teaches that there are two deaths, that of the body, and all leave the body to different destinations, but the second death is the lake of fire, as mentioned in Revelation: ‘The Lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown in the lake of fire.’ (Revelation 20: 14-15) It is faith in Jesus Christ that saves a sinner from eternal death, the lake of fire! for on the cross he died for our sins and took our place, and by His blood sins are washed away, forgiven! ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved’! (Acts 16: 31)

My name is Edouard Jankowski and In September 1953 I landed on British soil. I was then nineteen years of age, and my destination was the I.B.T.I. (International Bible Training Institute) situated in Burgess-Hill, West Sussex. I did not realise when I arrived at the College, how my life was about to change for the better.
