Therefore, the whole emphasis, right through the New Testament, is constantly on what God has done to free men from the curse, and what God is still doing according to His plan, as detailed in the New Testament. We can never mention those truths too often. They alone reveal the true God and Jesus Christ His only Son! In His grace, God saved those that would believe in Jesus Christ, and it is clearly stated that they believe in Him because as states the Apostle Paul, they have been chosen in Christ, even before the creation of the earth as we know it, men and women, predestined according to that plan. They are all in Christ Jesus, converted from sinners into saints, from children of darkness, into Children of God. 

Therefore, what God chose to do ages ago has happened in Christ Jesus and is still happening, in the whole wide world, even in you that have believed few years ago or lately, the Holy Spirit has been sent by Jesus and is still working, and adding new Children to God’s family. That is a fact and when we meet in heaven, we shall know who was the last one to believe! Conviction, assurance,starts from the moment one believes in Christ, it is not fully appreciated at first, but as a Christian grows into Christ, he gets acquainted with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit reveals to him deeper truth concerning His standing and position in the Lord, more and more he gets to appreciate all that salvation contains forever! 

The Holy Spirit knows how to guide every believer, some understand the teachings of Christ and His apostles quicker than others, but all grow in grace and the knowledge of God! The full heritage of a born-again believer, is revealed to him according to the wisdom of God. The Holy Spirit knows what and when one is ready to know more of what it means to be a child of God. With every revelation comes greater certainty, for the Spirit of God, witnesses to the Christian’s spirit that he is a child of God. Royalty is not gained it is got at birth, it is a blood thing, genes! Like a prince the child of God grows realising what and who he is, by the grace of God, His heavenly father and starts behaving as such! 

We face a mystery because our closeness to God is such that we share the same DNA, so to speak, for we are, as the apostle John declares, born of God, and then he states in his epistle: ‘Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed (lavished) on us, that we should be called the sons of God … Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that when He (Jesus) shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. (1 John 3: 1-2) This is one of the great statements we can find only in the Holy Scriptures, it is so great because it is spoken by God through His servant John, and however we may be tried at times and feel unworthy that we are prone to doubt it, what God has done stands sure forever.

Therefore, it is a glorious fact that God, who is called the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is also the Father of every believer in Christ, as taught in the Scriptures I quoted; there are many other references in them to this truth. Jesus said to His disciples, when you pray; say: ‘Our Father Who are in Heaven’! God is not the father of unbelievers, as some would Have us believe, He is not the father of people that have not experienced this conversion into a new man! It is when man is convicted by the Holy Spirit that he is a lost sinner, dead in sin, that does truly repent of them, at that very moment, he is born anew, a new spirit is created in him, and he is complete again, body, soul, and spirit; a Christian, as stated, is a new creation! The body does not change, if a person is born again at fifty years of age, she still looks the same age, but her body veils what God has really done!
