As a baby he needed to drink his mother’s milk, having this baby, His parents must have been over the moon! Handling this charming new born, God’s Son! they must have felt as I felt when handling my four children and more! Joseph, a godly man, must have felt very blest to be chosen as a guardian of, and to care for the Son of God! Jesus needed sleep, his nappies had to be changed! Joseph, with Mary and the child, had to flee from Bethlehem to Egypt, to save God’s Son from the murderous hands of King Herod, a maniac, who wanted him dead. I could go on, but if you have a Bible read about Him, and meditate, give yourself time! because reading about Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, is the most exciting story ever told.
It is essential that every Christian knows, with deep certainty, as much as possible about this miracle man, God incarnate, who later in life could say to the Jews: ‘My Father, whom you claim is your God, is the one who glorifies me. Though you do not know him, I know Him. If I said ‘I did not’, I would be a liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word. Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad. The Jews exclaimed: You are not yet fifty years old, and you have seen Abraham! I tell you the truth, Jesus answered, before Abraham was born, ‘I AM’! At this (having heard this) They picked up stones to stone Him! They did so because he said to be the Son of God! To every Jew to say that, was a blasphemy, the sentence was death, it is His death that the Jews wanted! Many times, before they tried to arrest Him, but never could! Jesus hid himself, slipping away one way or another He did so until came the hour, when it was the right time, he surrendered Himself willingly, to a devilish mob that came armed to apprehend Him, as I mentioned it already!’
This words Jesus spoke openly, ‘I AM’ mean ‘JEHOVAH, or YAHVE.’ Is a name that spans the whole of the Bible. We find it as far back as the book of Exodus, when in the desert Moses was pasturing sheep of Jethro, his father-in-law. One day Moses was attracted by a burning bush that would not consume, as he approached it, he heard a voice: ‘There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within the bush and said: …Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground’! (Exodus 3: 5) It was there that Moses received his call to go to Egypt to bring the Israelites out of their slavery, it took a lot to convince Him! Talking with God, he said: ‘Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, the God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me: What is His name? Then what shall I tell them? God said to Moses: ‘I AM WHO I AM’ This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM (said Jesus) has sent me to you!
Having commented rapidly on the five verses from Hebrews, in the previously, I must quote those that remain by which is expounded this profound declaration: ‘In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, from whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family! I am still dealing with the second point in our study, which is ‘conviction,’ for there are many things a true Christian must be ‘certain’; convinced of; this I do in answer to the question, ‘Who is a Christian.’ For all I have stated thus far is the Gospel, it reveals that Jesus is divine, and only the Holy Spirit alone can convict a sinner that He is divine! And as I have mentioned it, to be saved one must confess that Jesus Christ is God! Every believer needs to read and meditate upon the seventeenth chapter of the Gospel of John. I know preachers that hardly ever mention it, or expound it, because the truth of it upsets their preconceived ideas about points of the Christian doctrine, yet they are recorded in that chapter, the Bible, which these preachers confess to believe. Obviously, they only believe what suits their conception of the truth!

My name is Edouard Jankowski and In September 1953 I landed on British soil. I was then nineteen years of age, and my destination was the I.B.T.I. (International Bible Training Institute) situated in Burgess-Hill, West Sussex. I did not realise when I arrived at the College, how my life was about to change for the better.
