During my years of ministry, I worked seventeen years of it in France, and they were most challenging. Being born in France where I had my primary education, and where I lived for nineteen years of my life, I thought that I knew the French people inside out; how wrong I was! But after seventeen years of preaching the Gospel among them I have grown to know them better.
The first seven years of my period in that beautiful country was spent itinerating and thus I visited various churches, from north to south and east to west. It did not take long for me to realise that it must have been God’s will for me to work for Him in that fashion, because, as varied as are the provinces of this big country, so is the character of the people, and yet the ministry of the Holy Word in preaching and teaching, was received so well that I was amazed at the ease in which I brought to them the Truth of the Word of God for they brought out of me things that I did not know I had received from God!
It is by experience that I have learned if the message of the Gospel was well received of the listeners, because if there was rebellion of any sort in the heart, if it be only in few of the people in the assembly, the words came back to me making communication that much harder. But traveling from one church to another throughout the Land, I was blest with the attitude of the folk, whether in the pews of the church or round the table in their homes, where conversations centred mainly on the word of God. Those seven years enriched my experience a lot, and brought out of me, things I never knew were in me to share and to blest many hungry souls seeking avidly the truth.
My remaining ten years were spent in pastoring a church in the centre of the country, and the ministry changed completely. I discovered that the Christians I began to pastor had little knowledge of the Bible and the doctrine of the Christian faith. The folk I was pastoring needed to learn the first elements of teaching just as do new converts to the Lord Jesus Christ. Because of it I found that a weekly printed message which I called ‘Entre nous’ (meaning 'between us') was very profitable for them and a great blessing for me. In these weekly printed instructions I treated with things that people found difficult to grasp and understand, and it helped them to have it written, so that they could read again and again until they learned the biblical truths and apply them to their lives, and changes in their relationship with Jesus their Saviour and God their fFather became different with more assurance and conviction.
It is therefore my desire to make the same contribution with these 'Links', or as I call them, ‘from me to you’, and take whatever comes to my knowledge by questions that arise from events that weave the tissue of daily life, nationally and internationally, which may leave many Christians uncertain and worried, with the sole purpose of strengthening the believers in Christ and make their relationship with Him based on the love of God that comes to man only though the Gospel, which in all things is the only message of hope.

My name is Edouard Jankowski and In September 1953 I landed on British soil. I was then nineteen years of age, and my destination was the I.B.T.I. (International Bible Training Institute) situated in Burgess-Hill, West Sussex. I did not realise when I arrived at the College, how my life was about to change for the better.
